How to Make Oil-Free Pesto

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Yields: 1 cup pesto | Serving Size: 1/4 cup |

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (packed) baby spinach or fresh basil leaves, or a combination
  • 1/4 cup tablespoons parmesan cheese, recommend Dairy-Free Parmesan Cheese recipe
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender, or food processor, and pulse until all ingredients are combined and a pesto consistency is reached.
  2. Refrigerate until ready to use.
